Balance of kids and work

So the kids have a week off school and I'm taking them to Denmark for a few days. We are off to our beautiful summerhouse in one of Denmarks most stunning locations, Mols. I've spent many summers there and I never tire of the beautiful views. I have obviously packed my camera.....albeit rather difficult to choose which one to take as I'm also working whilst I am out there, and I am trying to travel light with 3 kids in tow.....So I've packed my D750 Nikon, and considering to bring an old film camera, just for fun. As a working mum to three kids, it is a bit of a juggling act to get the perfect balance between work and time with the kids, hence I work a lot in the evening! I was talking to another full time working mum the other day and we both decided that more often than not we have to make some quick decisions about what is important, especially when we are feeling that we are far too busy. Every time I'm feeling the pressure of it all, I stop, breath, think and I do a quick evaluation of what is the most important thing to achieve and why. For example....the house work gets further down the list and I'd much rather spend time with the kids when they come home from school. Especially when my autistic son has a meltdown I have to just drop whatever else and concentrate on him. So my priority for the week ahead is to have as much fun, fresh air and create as many great new memories as we possibly can! Be in the moment and enjoy the now! Have a great week everyone :-)
